TWD: Chocolate Truffle Tartlets

These were challenging…

I had problems with the crust which just refused to be rolled out. So instead I just tamped it down into the tartlet pans and hoped for the best. Luckily they turned out fine!

I loved the fact that the recipe added bits of biscottti and other chocolate (I only added milk chocolate because I have an aversion to white) into it. It did make for a different texture as you bit into the tartlet. However, I think I overbaked mine a little as I was worried about the consistency when it first came out of the oven… am guessing that the consistency was different then what everyone else experienced… but to me (especially after all that woe with the crust) it still tasted good. I mean, how wrong can you go with chocolate?
